Family Tree Software To download a copy of the software I use to record the Family Tree click on the link to left and follow the simple instructions to install the software on your computer. You will be asked to either run or save the software. If you save the file on your computer you will need to run the installation program from your computer. If you run the program directly from the link below the installation should start automatically. Once installed you should have a working version of Family Origins ver 4.1a.
Once you have installed the software and are sure it is running properly, drop me an e-mail (ishackell@hotmail.com) and I will send you the data file and instructions on how to access it through the Family Origins software. If you can’t get the software to work let me know.
I received the software free with a magazine and as far as I know the company who produced it had got to version 12 before being bought over and dissolved by a bigger software firm. Hopefully they won’t object to a very outdated piece of software being recycled, if they do, my apologies! |
